Recently unsealed court documents related to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein contain a series of alleged communications that have drawn public attention. Among the materials is a purported email from Epstein, dated November 9, 2016, in which he recounts a story involving former President Donald Trump.
In the message, Epstein allegedly describes a flight taken with Trump shortly after Trump met his future wife, Melania Trump, in 1998. The email claims Trump repeatedly made a crude and objectifying remark about her appearance. Representatives for Trump have not publicly addressed this specific allegation from the document dump.
The files also include a separate, polite email exchange from 2002 between Melania Trump and Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former associate. In the correspondence, Melania Trump compliments a magazine article featuring Epstein and suggests the two women meet in New York. Maxwell’s reply is cordial but declines the invitation due to a busy travel schedule.
Beyond these communications, the extensive document release from the Department of Justice includes other notable figures. A previously seen photograph of Britain’s Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, is among the records. Additionally, a 2010 email shows the prince inviting Epstein to Buckingham Palace, suggesting the venue would offer “lots of privacy” and where Epstein proposed bringing women “to add some life.” Prince Andrew has previously denied any wrongdoing.
The release comprises millions of pages related to the Epstein investigation, continuing to fuel scrutiny of the disgraced financier’s social and professional network.
